New Addition

I'm a new aunt! Isn't that exciting? I've always wanted a teeny tiny niece to buy frilly pink things and headbands with big flowers for! Well.....SHE'S HERE! Introducing my new niece Kye:She's a seven week old Blue Pit Bull. Baby Kye joins her cowardly brother, 2 year old, Diesel (also a Pit Bull) and her awesome brother, 12 year old, Nolan (full blooded and registered human).

Their proud parents are my big brother Aaron and his amazing girlfriend, Mel! Congratulations on your new addition! I can't wait to buy baby girl something blingy!

NEW POST!

Who's excited to see a new post on my blog? Come on, now, let's see a show of hands! Anyone? Anyone? Please? Well, I'm going to post anyway!

So in case you live under a rock, I'd just like to say MU ROCKS! Not only are their wrestlers Big 12 Conference Champs, so is their basketball team! WOO HOO! Now it's time for March Madness. I know absolutely NOTHING about college basketball, but we started a new tradition last year in our office to fill out brackets. My 2 coworkers know all about college basketball, which makes me the underdog/LOSER in the brackets, but it's fun to fill it out with all guesses anyway. This year I used a bit of a strategy combining rank with which mascot could kick the other mascot's ass. I'm pretty sure I'm going all the way!

Last Sunday was the Zumbathon fundraiser for the Annual MS Walk here in town. Kailyn and I had so much fun. Therefore, we Klinge's are now YMCA members! Joe and I have decided to go 3 days a week (since he already has washboard abs and I'm not a huge worker outer). I've got some classes I'd like to try and he mainly just wants to lift weights. I'm super excited! I know I've got abs in their somewhere, and damn it, I'm going to find them! The new Jodi Picoult book came out 2 weeks ago, Lone Wolf, and let me just tell you it was really great! It had so much interesting information about wolves (I know that sounds silly) mixed in with a beautiful story about a family torn apart and put back together. I LOVED IT! I can't say that I've ever read a Jodi Picoult book that I haven't loved, though, hence the reason she is my favorite author ;)I'm totally drooling over Adam Levine...I mean, The Voice. I can't say that I've agreed with all the mentors' choices in the battle rounds, but overall, I've been satisfied. I am afraid, however, that Team Adam will not will this year. There's a lot of talent, thought, so we shall see. I'm also digging American Idol, of course! My faves are Phillip Phillips and Hollie Cavanagh, while I also like Jessica Sanchez, Skylar Laine and Colton Dixon. I am so happy that Jermaine Jones went home! He was such a crybaby and he was a one trick pony. Wow, he had a deep voice, big deal.
My kiddies are doing so well! Kailyn had to have another tooth pulled at the dentist, but she was a super champ about it. Her braces wire was shoving it perpendicular to her other teeth, so her ortho just left the wire off last week and she got the tooth pulled the next morning. The tooth fairy brought her $5! The ones that have to be pulled at the dentist are "worth more" ;) We also had her parent/teacher conference last night which was, duh, fantastic! She is described by her teacher as amazing, smart, caring, and kind! He says he "loves her guts" and that he will miss her next year! Believe me, the feeling is mutual! We are so blessed and so proud!Myer is well into his terrible two's. He doesn't want to do anything he's told, he doesn't eat vegetable for us (but he'll eat them for anyone else), he has NO INTEREST in potty training and he still has a pacifier at bed time. Just call us parents of the year. Boys are so much different than girls...SHEESH!Other than LOVING this weather, that's all I've got! I have my first zumba class tomorrow at 5:30pm, so wish me luck!
