Friends Forever

BFF's, Besties, Best Friends, Sisters.....no matter what you call them, you just couldn't do without. Jordan, Morgan and Aubrie have been glued to one another since preschool. This Sunday brings about the end of an era. After their high school graduation, these 3 girls will travel in different directions. (Jordan to Columbia, Morgan to Springfield and Aubrie to Kansas City) However, I know their friendship, love, loyalty and trust will remain strong enough to get them through college and on to enjoy each other again; as successful women, wives and mothers. Oh, how I've watched my girls grow into such ladies.....and they're going to be GREAT!

Best Friends Are:

- Competitive so you can be your best!

- Goofy, Silly and Fun!
- Willing to let it ALL hang out!
- Beautiful!

- Supportive in your endeavors!

You girls and your friendship are fabulous. Promise to never let it go. I love you!

The Chronicles of Aunt Jordan

Jordan and Kailyn are disgustingly inseparable. When Aunt Jordan is near, NO ONE else exists to her. Jordan is equally as loving with Baby Myer. See, she's not a "baby" person exactly. She doesn't foresee having any because of the whole birth, pooping, puking issue. However, when Myer was first born, he spit up on his Aunt Jordan.....so much that she had to change her shirt. To which she responded, "Aimee, I want you to know that I really love your son, becuse he just puked all over me, and I didn't even throw him on the floor!" He's gotten her a few times since then too, and she still holds him every chance she gets!
My babies are SO lucky to have an aunt like Jordan. I think she'll actually miss them most when she goes away to college. Sweet Aunt Jordan!

Aunt Jordan held Myer in her prom dress and she wasn't even scared!

I'm telling you, no one else exists when these two are together!

Preparation

As the rain pours down outside and I did my work way too fast this morning, I've been preparing myself for this upcoming weekend. My sweet little baby sister will graduate from MHS *tear*. You see, when I was little, I always felt destined to have a sister to dress and play with like my own personal doll. Well, I finally got Jordan, however, 8 year olds don't exactly like to be dressed up, and by this time I was also 18, so I wasn't really into playing dolls either. So it seemed at first that the gap may separate our bonding. Jump forward 5 years and I move back home to Marshall with my newborn daughter. Still not quite the bond I had always dreamed of, but our chances were increasing because our living distance was close enough to try. Oddly, it seems our turning point was Jordan's 8th grade birthday party. She had like 14 girls stay the night.....at my house. Kailyn stayed with Papa and Nana and I took the pack of hoodlums, what a trade. I'm almost positive we've been telling secrets, checking in on one another, venting our problems and LOVING our relationship ever since. What's really funny is that when people see us or pictures of us, they're positive we're sisters because we look so much alike! (Which is true, but not blood, you know?) And it's not just our looks, we both excel in Math and English and have a love for reading. I told you I was destined for a sister, and it seems she was destined for me too! It's been so out of this world watching Jordan grow up and mature from year to year. What a gorgeous, intelligent, amazing woman she has become! I think in the coming week, I'll share some fun photos as we "grew" into each other, as we turned from perfect strangers into unbreakable sisters. I love you, Jordan!
Today: Just the two of us:
Morgan loves this one! Check out Jordan's sweet turtleneck, and what the hell is with the look on my face?
This is the nice one! Kathy McCloy also took a picture of us while Jordan was in a headlock, but it didn't turn out very pretty!
T.W.I.R.P. Dance 2009 - No, I didn't crash it, Mike was up for king, so I went for crowning and snuck in a pic with my sis before I left!

Yikes! This pic is HORRIBLE! It is from Jordan's Volleyball Senior Night. I am 7 months pregnant with a hoss of a baby boy and apparently forgot the memo about putting makeup on before leaving the house so as not to scare others! She must really love me to claim me on days like these!

Mother, MAY is busy!

May is such a busy month! Our fam has so much going on that it's hard to keep track.....even for me!
Myer has had a bit of trouble sleeping lately (he was up every 2 hours Friday night), which leads to a very sleepy/moody mommy, so I started him on cereal Saturday night. It's been a minute since I've given a baby cereal, so the first serving was so runny I had to put it in a bottle. It was a bit better on day 2 and I perfected it on day 3. He's pretty much go the hang of it, other than the fact that he loves to stick his hands in his mouth, whether there's cereal in there or not. By the way, he only eats every 4 - 5 hours during the day, but he still wakes up at 12:30am and 3am to eat, even with the cereal :( Maybe he's going through a growth spurt?

Kailyn started TBall last night! She's had some practices, but last night was their first game. She is honestly 100% better than last year. She was scared of the ball last year and really timid with the coaches. This year she's all about it! She ran her patootie off last night. Anytime the ball was hit, she wanted it BAD. I think her favorite was when she got to "play" first base. It's hilarious, though, she won't open her glove to catch a ball, she puts it on the ground and hopes for an underthrow to roll it's way over to her! Anywho, she rocks! Our team had 7 players last night, 3 of which were girls, and they showed those boys who was boss!

Well, this Sunday is the day of the Mother! I wanted babies from the time I was old enough to play with baby dolls, so being a Mother is what makes my life worth living! I also have the most outstanding Mother on the face of the planet that I've learned from! Whether you are a seasoned Mother, an expectant Mother or a Mother in spirit.....Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Cinco De Mayo!
