Randall Scott Davenport April 16, 1973 - October 24, 2010
Randall Scott Davenport, 37, of Marshall, MO, died Sunday, October 24, 2010, in Marshall. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2010, at the Martin Community Center in Marshall, with William W. Harlow and Mark Gooden officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery with full fire fighters honors. The family invites all motorcycle riders to join the funeral procession to the cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Community Center with the fire fighters walk thru beginning at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Maggie and Henry Davenport Scholarship Fund in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com Born April 16, 1973, in Waverly, MO, he was the son of William Henry Davenport and Barbara Alspaw Davenport who survive of Marshall. He had lived in Marshall his entire life, was a 1991 graduate of Marshall High School and attended fire fighter recruit training through Columbia Fire Academy. On May 26, 2000, he married Sarah Hall who survives of the home. He had been a fire fighter for the Marshall Fire Department since September 13, 2004 and recently obtained his E.M.T. license. He was a member of Marshall Family Worship Center, Marshall Drag Racing Team and I.A.F.F. Local 2706. His life’s passion was being a fire fighter, loving his family and friends. He also enjoyed his Harley motorcycle. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, Maggie Jane Davenport and Henry Parker Davenport of the home; his siblings, Lola Christine Jones, Terry Lee Davenport, Vickie Lynn Gochenour, William Henry Davenport, Jr., Roger Allen Davenport and Lori Ann Gibson all of Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
